2012 in brief

  • Sales amounted to SEK 725 (727) million.
  • Operating profit was SEK 102 (101) million.
  • Goods loaded and unloaded increased by about three per cent. Areas that increased most include transit oil, cars and RoRo. Cruise traffic grew by 3 per cent to 840,000 passengers.
  • Within the car handling operation new collaborations were initiated with Mercedes and Subaru.
  • Work on the new cruise quay in Copenhagen is progressing and completion is expected in mid-2013. The three permanent terminal buildings will be completed in spring 2014, at which time the new cruise operation will commence.
  • The decision was taken to establish a cruise operation in Malmö. Traffic during 2103 is expected to comprise about 40,000 passengers and 7,000 crew.
  • Copenhagen was named Europe’s Leading Cruise Port at the World Travel Awards trade event.
  • Discussions were initiated with Port of Helsingborg. The aim is to analyse the potential to set up a joint operating company.
  • The first customer moved into the UPS area at Prøvestenen in Copenhagen.
